Dozens of flights have been diverted or cancelled today because of thick fog hitting the UK
Heathrow has advised all their passengers to check the status of their flight online with their airline before heading to Europe's busiest airport.
As thousands of people become stranded on Sunday, the end of the half term, they take to twitter to tweet about their transport misery.
Other airports across the country are affected by the fog including Gatwick, Birmingham, Leeds and Liverpool.
British Airways has posted a statement on their website saying that the Airport Authorities and Air Traffic Control has requested airlines operating to Heathrow that they should reduce their schedules today for safety reasons.
Fog is forecast to return again overnight and BA say they expect disruption to flights again on Monday.
Heathrow releases a statement on heathrow.com that today's foggy conditions are expected to remain across the UK tomorrow and this may cause some disruption to passengers journeys. Heathrow advises passengers to check online and/or contact the airline directly to find out information and/or rebook.
