China Southern Airlines Dreamliner #CZ336 to Guangzhou just returned toAuckland International Airport after experiencing an engine issue.
Flight CZ336, which took off just after 11am and was heading for China with 212 people on board, had to turn around after one of its engines lost power.
The aircraft involved is a Boeing B787 Dreamliner, reg. B-2733.
Auckland International Airport says there may be other planes in holding patterns in the air because of the incident.
