An Asiana Airlines flight to Seoul returned to Los Angeles on Tuesday after smoke was reported in the cargo hold.

 

According to Flightaware.com the A380 plane with 358 passengers on board returned to Los Angeles 7 hours after its departure at 12:53 p.m. Tuesday (local time).

Asiana said aviation officials there didn’t find any signs of fire or smoke in the cargo section, possibly indicating that the alarm malfunctioned.
