An airport spokesperson said that Allegiant Flight 844 took off from the airport on Thursday morning headed to Stewart-Newburg Airport in New York.
However, the plane reported problems and is returning to the airport to make an emergency landing. No details have been released regarding the type of problem the plane is having.
