EMERGENCY 2 Lion Air planes collide on Soekarno-Hatta airport in Jakarta

Two Lion Air planes, one heading to Denpasar and the other going to Manado, had a minor collision with each other on the runway following what appears to be a communications mishap.

“While on the runway, their wings collided, but it must be said that the damage was not significant. However, [the planes] temporarily can’t fly yet because of the damage,” said Andy Saladin from Lion Air’s Public Relations department, as quoted by Okezone yesterday.
