A flight out of Newark made an emergency landing in Ohio after the plane experienced engine issues.
United Airlines said Flight 38 – a Boeing 737 – took off from Newark Liberty International Airport at about 4 p.m. and was headed to Omaha, Nebraska. The pilot declared an emergency during the flight and diverted to the nearest available airport, which was Cleveland Hopkins International Airport.
The plane landed safely at about 5:30 p.m.
