BREAKING Bomb threat at Madrid Barajas airport

Madrid Barajas airport issued a general alarm on Thursday morning after the captain of Saudi Airlines Boeing 777 flight SV226 reported an unspecified threat on boad.


The aircraft moved to a security part of the airport and the passengers had been evacuated.


The Civil Guard confirmed the threat had been found by the crew "on a note written in English pinned with a knife to a monitor" on board the aircraft. The note said that "there is a bomb".
