Spring Airlines has announced plans to acquire 45 Airbus A320neos and 15 A321neos to the Shanghai Stock Exchange, in a deal valued at $6.3 billion at list prices. Following “tough” negotiations with Airbus, the Chinese budget carrier said it had signed a purchase agreement for the 60-aircraft acquisition on Dec. 3.
