BREAKING UPDATE: British Airways has taken Svetlanov State musicians off a flight because of suspicions of drunken conduct

45 musicians of the Svetlanov State Symphony were taken off a plane at Heathrow and held for 10 hours in a waiting room after a British Airways pilot had called the police.

The orchestra was on its way to Sao Paolo in Brazil and the flight became severely delayed.

Reports from Russian media appears that the musicians were removed from the flight because of suspicions of drunken conduct.

British Airways has said that the musicians were removed 'due to technical difficulties' and have been put on the next available flight.
