The body was found on Sky Harbor Boulevard near Terminal 3 about 6:15 a.m.
Traffic entering the airport from the west was backed up, and motorists were urged to enter from the east using 44th Street, State Route 143 or Loop 202, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.
