Shannon Airport (SNN) in Ireland this morning welcomed Turkish Airlines Cargo to the airport. Boasting the longest runway in Ireland, the airport tweeted that it was a 'great asset'. In a series of subsequent tweets (below) the airport posted pictures of the first Turkish Airlines Cargo plane to land and it's crew. The new crew were welcomed to the airport by air traffic controllers in Irish - "Céad Míle Fáilte (Welcome)- to which the captain replied "Go Raibh Maith Agat"(Thanks). The new service will enjoy round the clock services at Shannon.
