Turkish Airlines said today "In oder to strengthen our flight network our incorporation has decided to take over one afternoon landing and take-off right (slot pair) at London Heathrow from Scandinavian Airlines at the beginning of the winter traffic program on the 25th October."
Turkish Airlines now will have 38 weekly slot-pairs at London Heathrow Airport.
It has also been rumoured that Turkish Airlines is thinking of leasing a few A380s from Malaysia Airlines that is expected to fly to and from the UK.
