ALERT 11 injured on board Thai Airways flight #TG641 from Tokyo to Bangkok due to severe turbulence

Thai Airways says one of its planes hit severe turbulence over Thailand and 11 people on board were injured.

The Airbus A340-600 was headed to Bangkok from Tokyo at the time and landed safely.

He said the injured were taken to a hospital.

Airline said in a statement that flight TG641 was carrying 227 passengers, two pilots and 22 crew members.
